[edit] Geography and Climate
Katashia is a generally rocky and sparsely vegetated area. Large portions of its land is below sea level and is riddled with caves and crevices. Because of this, Katashia is generally seen as the "gateway to the Kerjan Subworld."
Katashia is very dry and hot. Most of it is generally considered desert, though it isn't as sandy nor flat as the typical "desert terrain" seen in other places, like Ragnar. Katashia has a moderate amount of Aspaxen Mist, which generally appears in areas with particularly low elevation.

The Katashian government is a constitutional monarchy. Its leaders are elected, but they rule for life, and there are few checks and balances. It is currently ruled by Porgill Ristiad.

Katashia was originall a small nation-state as the bottom of the Katashian bastion. It officially became a nation in 104AE after expanding its borders to what it is today.
